Crazy for cupcakes!


I've been having a lot of fun making these knitted cupcakes, a pattern designed by Julie Williams of Little Cotton Rabbits. They are a great way to use up my stash of Baby Cashmerino yarn! The Chatty Baby is just like my childhood doll (but I bought her on ebay since mine is long gone) and she's wearing a cute little dress my mom made in the early 60's- doesn't she look perfect for Valentine's Day? The teddy bear is one of my early attempts at making mohair teddy bears. I would like to get back to that one of these days!

    Those are amazingly cute cupcakes! And you found another Chatty Baby? With both legs the same size? I remember that dress!

    The Chatty Baby is cute, but alas, her legs are not really the same size! I've learned this is normal for Chatty Babys! She still looks fine, tho, without her booties.
