OOAK BARBIES
















I'm finally getting around to posting photos of the OOAK Barbies from the Fashion Doll club of the Rockies holiday party.

I won a doll created by reknown designer Avis Jones. She is outstanding! I hope you can see the detail in the back of her dress in the photos. I am so thrilled to win a doll created by Avis!
The vintage repro Barbie is my first attempt at creating a OOAK. Her dress & belt use Stampin' Up! supplies (I LOVE their new fabric line!), her petticoat is a vintage doily, and I knitted her sweater and crocheted her clutch bag.

    The designer doll is gorgeous! I've never seen a black Barbie with platinum hair. Do you know what decade she's from? Her facial features look a little 80's to me. Your vintage repro is adorable! The vintage Barbies (and repros) will always be the best! In my opinion.

    Her box says 45th Anniversary Barbie Doll by Bob Mackie, created in 2003. She's wearing a silver/black evening dress that says it was inspired by the 1959 debut bathing suit. (looks very 80s to me, though)
